Azerley Grange: 05-06-2018

No prizes for guessing what the NCVs were up to today:

Yes - that's right - Himalayan Balsam eradication, Now, there is only so much you can say on this particular topic and it has probably already been said before - so let's cut straight to the pics!

The eradicators at work....

 ...searching high...

...and low.

The areas pulled last time needed re-visiting during the morning
but they got on to new areas later....

...where there was plenty to keep them busy!

The eradicators at play.

One man and his dog,

Sausages for lunch - thanks Kevin!!

Bovine gate-crashers took an interest in what was being
eaten and had to be waved away.

A very handsome toad also put in an appearance
but none of the fair maidens seemed to want to give him a kiss.

A less handsome find.
Phallus impudicus (or stinkhorn for the less scholarly).
